Constructed in 1938, South Mount Hawkins Lookout is a C3 14’ x 14’ wooden cab with shutter outriggers, on top of a 30’ treated timber tower. This lookout was burned on Sept. 1, 2002. It will not be rebuilt because of poor road conditions.
