Joyce & Craig Childs RV Parking
Joyce and Craig Childs who own a working wholesale nursery in Pauma Valley, and are very hospitable members of FFLA-SDRC, are offering to allow a few RV owners the option of staying at their property, for free, during the Western Conference.
They can supply water, a place to deposit trash and there is an employee porta potty within easy walking distance. This is ”dry camping” so there are no electrical or sewer hookups but running a generator is OK. The quiet (and safe) location is half way (25-30 minutes each direction) between Escondido and Palomar Mountain.
Harrah’s and Pala Casino’s are nearby and they also allow RV parking. They may also charge you a fee and they don’t have the awesome view of Palomar Mountain (and Boucher Lookout) that you will have from this property.
